When you decide to run statewide for the first time, introducing yourself to new voters who you have never met or represented is essential.

We use donations to fund campaign ads, digital ads, office space and staff in every corner of the state and in critical "Get Out the Vote" efforts to make sure our supporters cast their ballots.

No campaign — no matter how big or small — can win in a vacuum. And that takes resources.

According to the American National Election Studies survey conducted after the 2020 election, only 16% of Americans made a donation to an individual candidate running for office.

That's a small percentage of Americans who are contributing to big outcomes that impact everyone else.

Some give to support a candidate. Others give because they oppose a candidate. Some have particular issues they’re passionate about — like abortion rights, voting rights, and combating corporate money in politics. And others say they give to "make their voice heard in our political system."

Today, I am asking you do the thing only a small number of Americans do, but will have a huge impact on our race, and by extension control of the Senate and even the White House:

Can you please use this link to contribute to my campaign for United States Senate in Michigan before our FEC deadline ends? It may feel like a small and simple act, but it will go a long way toward making sure we win.

Thank you for your continued support throughout our campaign and especially before this FEC deadline. It means so much.

Elissa
