John,
My father, a lifelong public servant, raised my sister and I on his own. As a young child, I saw firsthand the struggles he faced trying to make ends meet while raising two daughters.
Today, too many are struggling to provide for their families. Wages are not keeping pace with the ever-rising costs of living, from housing to healthcare and childcare.
It's why, as Commissioner of Public Lands, I've worked to protect and grow good-paying jobs across the state, including right here in the 6th district.
Through initiatives like my Rural Communities Partnership, we've successfully secured hundreds of millions of dollars, bringing labor and business to the table to create critical jobs in existing and new industries, from biochar and cross-laminated timber to clean energy, maritime and agricultural investments.
Recognizing the need to create pathways to a stable career, my signature bill expanded funding for apprenticeship programs and job training. And I put in place an apprenticeship requirement on all of our major projects. That’s why I’ve been endorsed by 27 labor unions in this race – ten times as many as all of my opponents combined.
In Congress, I'll continue to focus on creating good-paying jobs in communities from Tacoma to Forks, but to get there, I need your help. Can I count on you to chip in $25 right now to my campaign for Congress?

Thank you for standing with me,
Hilary Franz
