** COALITION SPOTLIGHT
------------------------------------------------------------

** Focus on housing retention
------------------------------------------------------------

Our community has a new way to help our neighbors who have been housed, stay housed.

Service providers who work in housing now have a collaborative meeting to connect with colleagues across organizations who are doing similar work. The meetings will feature a guest speaker from a housing resource, other resources and best practices.

The first Housing Retention Case Conferencing is set for April 30, with the event repeating on the last Tuesday of the month.

Watch your email for an invitation if your work involves keeping people housed. Reach out to Mac Lyons at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) with questions.

HUD distributes dollars to Continuums of Care to support the creation and ongoing operations of housing for people experiencing homelessness.

ACEH is grateful for the ongoing collaboration and support of the Anchorage Assembly and the Alaska federal delegation to right size Anchorage’s allocation so that homelessness can be rare, brief and one time.
