Friend, when I announced I was running to be Texas' next Senator and take on Ted Cruz, I knew I was in for a tough fight – but in the year since, we've come so far. 

FIRST: FiveThirtyEight said this could be Democrats' BEST chance to win in Texas! 

THEN: This grassroots team stepped up to pitch in and help me reach voters, and recent polls showed I’m in a DEAD HEAT – 41% to 41% – in my race against Ted Cruz. 

NOW: I need to hit every single goal we set from now until Election Day to keep up with Cruz's millions – including tonight's $65,000 goal.

The difference between winning and losing could be hitting critical goals like this one so that we can spread our message across the state, reach enough Texas voters, and pull ahead.

But to do that, I need to build the biggest team of grassroots supporters that Texas has ever seen, and I’m counting on you to be part of it.
