Friend, in just a moment we’re going to ask you to make a donation to Ruben Gallego’s campaign for Senate. But before we do, let us explain why this donation and this moment are so incredibly important. 

Yesterday, the Arizona Supreme Court decided to enforce a law from 1864 that will impose a near-total ban on abortion without exceptions for rape and incest on the people of Arizona. 

Millions of Arizonans just lost rights that their grandmothers and mothers were born with. 

Extremist politicians like Kari Lake and Donald Trump are forcing themselves into doctors' offices and ripping away the right for women to make their own health care decisions. And the only way we’ll be able to push back on their efforts to pass a national ban on abortion is at the ballot box. 

So we’re asking you to split a donation between Ruben Gallego's and Patty Murray's campaigns. We’re hoping that everyone who understands how terrible this decision is and how important it is that we hold the Senate can dig deep today and make a donation.

This November, Arizona will decide whether Kari Lake or Ruben Gallego goes to the Senate. If Ruben wins Arizona we are that much closer to holding the Senate. And we need control in the Senate to stop any attempt at a national ban on abortion. 

We need Ruben in the Senate because he is a critical vote on any legislation that will protect the right to an abortion.
