John,

My name is Coco Millard, and I’m the General Elections Director for the Minnesota DFL Coordinated campaign. We have a lot of work ahead of us over the next 8 months, so I wanted to reach out and introduce myself. 

I’ve lived in Minnesota for the last 15 years and spent every summer and winter vacation of my life here. I got my start as a rural organizer and, over the years, have worked on a number of campaigns in every corner of the state. I love Minnesota, and it’s truly my home more than anywhere else!

One of my first jobs in politics was as an organizer for the DFL’s coordinated campaign, so it's a lovely full-circle moment to come back as the General Elections Director for 2024. I’m excited to get to work and build a diverse and dedicated team to organize communities across the state. 

Remember, John, this election will be one of the most consequential of our lifetimes. We need to invest early and make sure we can re-elect President Biden, protect our DFL trifecta, and elect DFLers up and down the ballot. The future of our entire country depends on it, and none of this is possible without your continued support. 

That’s why I’m reaching out personally today. Our finance director, Nora, let me know that we missed our rapid response deadline on Tuesday after Trump doubled down on his pledge to flip Minnesota red in November.

To make up the ground we lost and keep our budget on track to build the most robust statewide coordinated campaign in our Party’s history, we need to raise $20,000 by Friday.
