Court Sanctions Election Deniers and Dismisses Challenge to Arizona’s 2022 Election Results
— Democracy Docket, April 1, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. — An Arizona judge has dismissed yet another legal challenge to the state’s 2022 election results, this time issuing sanctions and calling the challenge “meritless” and “bad faith.”

The order issued today dismisses a pair of lawsuits brought by right-wing lawyer Ryan Heath on behalf of failed Republican Arizona attorney general candidate Abraham Hamadeh, Cochise County Supervisor Tom Crosby (R) and “Independent” voter David Mast seeking to decertify the results of the 2022 general election in Arizona.

This just in: a judge here in Arizona dismissed a challenge to the 2022 election results brought forward by election denier, failed AG candidate, and current AZ-08 candidate Abe Hamadeh.

The judge called the challenge to decertify the results of the 2022 general election “meritless,” and “bad faith.” This challenge would’ve removed AG Mayes from office and decertify the elections of both Governor Hobbs and AG Mayes.

Not only was the case dismissed but the court also SANCTIONED both Abe Hamadeh and his legal team, claiming that “preponderance of the evidence demonstrates the existence of bad faith in the filing of this “election challenge…””

Team — We have to keep election deniers like Abe FAR away from positions of power. Will you pitch in right now to help us flip AZ-08 blue?
