John, this email is a little longer than usual, but it’s an important one.

Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court heard a case challenging access to Mifepristone — an FDA-approved medication used in abortions and treatments of miscarriages.

This attack on reproductive rights comes two years after the Supreme Court voted to overturn the 50-year precedent set in Roe v. Wade, leaving reproductive healthcare up to individual states to decide. Since then, lawmakers throughout the country have introduced and passed dangerous legislation to restrict women’s reproductive rights.

While we won’t hear the final decision for some time, the arguments made before the court make clear that anti-choice activists will pursue any and all avenues to restrict and attack our reproductive rights.

Last February, the Alabama Supreme Court's decision to restrict in vitro fertilization (IVF) underscored a broader and even more backward agenda.

Virginians deserve a Governor who will always protect our fundamental rights. Defending reproductive freedom for all Virginians means electing a pro-choice Governor in 2025.

As the next Governor of Virginia, I’ll continue to support a woman’s right to choose and make sure that reproductive healthcare remains safe and accessible. Will you stand with me in this campaign by making a contribution today?
