*Withholding Tax Quarterly Return and Deposit Due Dates*

The first quarter (January - March 2024) Minnesota Withholding Tax return is due *April 30. *

Deposits were due according to your semiweekly or monthly deposit schedule.

*Exception*: You may make your deposit by April 30, 2024, if both of these applied:


* You withheld $1,500 or less of Minnesota withholding tax in the fourth quarter (October - December 2023)
* You filed fourth quarter?s withholding tax return on time

*?**Did you know?*

The 2024 W-4MNP, Minnesota Withholding Certificate for Retirement Account, Pension, or Commercial Annuity Payments [ [link removed] ] has been updated to give more withholding options to recipients of retirement account distributions.

If you are a payer that has a previously completed W-4MNP on file, you do not need to request a new form from the payee. Previous versions of the W-4MNP are still valid for determining withholding and you should not withhold as if you do not have a W-4MNP on file.
