After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. 

I'll be joined by a behavioral health expert, school board members, educators, students, and parents to discuss resources on digital wellness and mental health with a focus on youth mental and behavioral health. It's going to take everyone - parents, teachers, and students, to help in this effort to be healthier together! Our Virtual Town Hall participants / Co-Hosts include:

1. Doreen Dodgen-Magee, Tualatin resident, Award winning author, speaker and psychologist will discuss ways to cope with the heightened emotions associated with being out of control of your surroundings and experiences.  

2. Diane Solomon: Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She will discuss the ABCDEs of self care to keep yourself and loved ones emotionally and physically well. 

3. Robin Henderson: PsyD, West Linn Resident, Psychologist, Chief Executive of Behavioral Health at Providence, Oregon. She works with the Work2BeWell project, focused on providing free resources to students, parents, and teachers to support mental and emotional well being. 

4. Pam Pearce, WL Resident. Community Organizer at Community Living Above, co-founder Harmony Academy, Oregon's first recovery high school, and  Co-Creator of Family Inspired Recovery, a community based, family and peer centered program offering support for adolescents who are struggling with substance misuse and high-risk behaviors. She will talk about local resources to educate, engage, and empower our community to find information and resources that will help individuals and families with Substance Use/Mental Health. 

5. Cyndy Hillier, Tualatin Resident, ED of Tualatin Together. She will speak to the mission of supporting a community environment that discourages and reduces substance abuse and promotes factors that protect our youth.

6. Regan Molatore, Chair of the WLWV school board. She will discuss the importance of mental health resources for our students. Also updates on school district work to address students during COVID 19. 

7. Oppen up for community questions and conversation.

Zoom tips:

Computer: You can access Zoom on your web browser or through the desktop application. To download the desktop application for free, visit Zoom.us. I recommend downloading it in advance. When it comes time for the event on Thursday, press “Click Here to Join” on your registration confirmation, and you will automatically be directed to the application. If you do not want to download the application, you can access the meeting from your browser by following the same link. If accessing Zoom through your browser, Google Chrome is recommended.

Cell phone: Zoom also has mobile applications available for free on the Apple and Google Play Store. Downloading this app will allow you to take part in the town hall from your phone. 

Telephone: You can also access the meeting on your telephone. Your registration confirmation will include a teleconferencing and meeting ID number. Simply dial the teleconferencing number into your phone and then when prompted, enter the meeting ID number using the dial pad followed by #. Though you will be able to hear everything being said, you will be unable to see any of the visual presentations.
