FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ovenell Road to be Closed for Daytime Repairs April 9 and April 10, 2024 at Farm To Market Road.

Ovenell Road, at Farm To Market Road, will be closed for repairs on Tuesday, April 9th and Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.  Skagit County Public Works crews will be replacing a culvert and conducting other road repairs at the intersection. Access will be restored each evening.

We ask the public to please steer clear of the construction zone while the area is closed for the safety of our crew and to ensure the repairs can be finished as soon as possible.

Drivers will need to access the Skagit County Recycling and Transfer Station along with neighboring businesses from the east on Ovenell Road via Higgins Airport Way during the closures.

The road will be closed to all vehicles, including Emergency Response vehicles.

The Detour Route will be Farm To Market Road, Josh Wilson Road, and Higgins Airport Way for both directions.
