Help us build more fairer greener communities

John,

Our local elections campaign launches tomorrow!

In recent years, we’ve quadrupled the number of Green councillors and it’s vital we keep up the momentum in a massive election year.

Overall, we’re contesting 60 per cent of council seats up for election on 2 May  –  as well as the elections for the London Mayor and London Assembly.

Many of the seats are in the south west, south east, north west and east midlands, in urban areas, which with Labour riding high in the polls, won’t be easy.

But we can do it with your help.

Local councils have a key role to play tackling the climate and nature crises.

They have important powers on transport, housing and social care which impact on every one’s everyday lives.

But this year the local elections are also a vital opportunity to grow support for the party in the run up to the general election.

They will help us get our message out to millions of voters that we are the only party offering an alternative and have never been better positioned to win.

Going into the elections, we have almost 760 councillors and are part of the ruling administration in 10 per cent of all councils.

Will you help get hundreds more Greens elected by donating to our Fairer Greener Communities campaign?

Thank you for your support.
