The fact is, our race is a dead heat. National GOP groups are already jumping into this race, and we expect them to invest significantly to prop up Mark Robinson — because despite his extremism, Republican groups see North Carolina as their best chance to flip a Governor’s Office from blue to red.

If we cannot compete with those investments, we risk coming up short on Election Day and North Carolina would be dragged backwards.

In the coming months, we’re going to prioritize reaching out to supporters and undecided voters by knocking on doors, running ads on TV and online, and hosting events where folks can meet Josh face to face. All that takes money, John.
