Hello,

Donald Trump renewed his plan to repeal the Affordable Care Act last month. The ACA provides health care access for millions of Americans who would be at risk of losing coverage if the ACA were repealed.

You know I don’t like asking for money, but we have a serious task at hand this year. I need your support so that together, we can stop another Trump presidency. Can I count on you to stand with me by making a contribution to fuel my reelection campaign?

You know I am a fighter for health care. Everyone in this country deserves access to affordable health care and come November, we need to make sure candidates win who are ready to get that job done.

The cost of health care comes up frequently when I meet with people in the district and I know it’s something that we need to address together. Just last week I was at an event discussing how we need to lower the cost of prescription drugs, especially for seniors who are on fixed incomes.

No one in this country should have to choose between paying rent, buying groceries, and filling a prescription for a life-saving drug.

As long as I am serving Michigan’s 6th District in Congress, I will not stop fighting for health care for one moment. I am one of the strongest advocates for expanding — not taking away — health care coverage and lowering the cost of prescription drugs, and I won’t back down until every person in this country has affordable and accessible health care.

Will you stand with me today and make a contribution so I can continue serving you in Congress and fighting for affordable health care in America?
