Kids Ministry + VBS Trainings



Kids matter in Arkansas, and Kids Ministry can make a huge impact in the life of a child. First Responder Chaplain/Peer Support Training

Barry Young of Serving Heroes will provide his Level 4 and Level 2 Chaplain/Peer Support Training April 26–27. This is for chaplains (or future chaplains), pastors and church leaders, Law Enforcement/Fire/EMS Peer Support Team Members and other emergency responders, and anyone desiring to minister to and support first responders. It's also great information for hospice and hospital workers.

Prepare + Protect Training, Southwest Arkansas

Thursday, April 18, 6:30–8:30 p.m.
Ouachita Baptist University

This training is for church pastoral and administrative staff and lay leaders, particularly those who work with children. Christa Neal, chairperson of the ABSC Sexual Abuse Response and Resource Team, will be the featured speaker. She will share important information related to abuse awareness and response.

PraiseWorks & JoyWorks 2024

Registration is open for JoyWorks Worship Arts Camp for students who have completed grades 3–6 and PraiseWorks for students who have completed grades 7–12. Camps are held simultaneously on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University July 8–12.
