Hey, John.

I'm hard at work, making calls throughout today to ensure we can raise every last dollar before tonight's critical FEC fundraising deadline. Before I get too deep into it, I thought I'd shoot you a quick note.

While we watch chaos and dysfunction unfold in Congress, the opportunities that brought my family to Washington and helped them build a better life are slipping away for too many.

I'm ready to bring the same sense of urgency and bold, transformative action that I’ve taken to address issues as our Lands and Fire chief in Washington to create solutions for us all in Congress.
