John,
Two months ago, more than 50 youth leaders representing organizations from across the country came together at the Minnesota Capitol to speak out against the Line 3 tar sands oil pipeline.

The world has changed a lot since then, but two things have remained the same: the young members of the Power Shift Network are still acting in solidarity with one another, and Enbridge Energy is still trying to build Line 3. Right now, solidarity looks like not being together in person in order to protect each other as the coronavirus pandemic sweeps the globe, but we can still act together.
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is accepting comments on the Line 3 pipeline. Tell them to follow the science, protect our water, and stop Line 3.
We know that the fossil fuel industry is already using the coronavirus pandemic to beg for bailouts while our communities are left hurting, and getting pollution regulations rolled back when public health is already under assault. As we help our own communities through the difficult times ahead, we need to fight for a just path forward - a path that is built out of mutual aid and solidarity, that moves us toward a system that cares for everyone, and that doesn't burden our communities with massive new fossil fuel projects.
Submit your public comment opposing the Line 3 pipeline today.
We're in this together, and we're not backing down.
Sending strength and solidarity to you and your communities,
Akilah Sanders-Reed
