I’m writing to humbly ask you to make a contribution — $10 or whatever you can afford — before our official FEC fundraising deadline closes at midnight tonight.

Let me explain:

Since day one, this campaign has been powered by grassroots supporters like you who give $5, $10 or even $25 to emails just like this. No Super PACs, no corporate special interests, just regular people chipping in what they can.

With our first FEC deadline of 2024 coming up tomorrow, we had no choice but to set ambitious goals to start out the year. That’s because we are legally required to submit our fundraising totals to the FEC, who will then publish them online for all to see.

So you can bet that the far-right and Big Oil will be watching to see if we still have true grassroots support. If not enough people chip in before midnight, we risk sending all the wrong messages.

But the thing is, when everyone reading this email contributes what they can, a $10 contribution from you is really all it takes to meet and potentially even surpass our goals in no time.

So please, I’m humbly asking:

Can you make a $10 contribution before our FEC fundraising deadline comes to a close at tonight? I wouldn’t ask if it weren’t so important.
