Hey John, it's Ashley’s campaign manager, Rachel, here.

I know it may feel early to donate to the campaign. But here's why pitching in now has such a big impact:

1. Strong fundraising numbers early on increases our chances of getting more endorsements, press attention, and even MORE donations. Organizations, the media, and major donors all want to know that we have a path to victory and that means showing we can raise the money needed to win.

2. Saving on one of our most expensive items – ads. The earlier we book our ads spots (especially TV), the cheaper they are. They can be literally HALF as expensive if we buy early in the summer rather than the fall.

3. Leveling up our voter data and other vital infrastructure. One of the big projects for any campaign is making sure we can find the voters we need to contact before Election Day. The earlier we identify them, the more time we have to connect to them and actually test our messages.

4. Hiring top talent before they accept other offers. Field organizers, consultants, etc… the best folks will get snapped up by other campaigns quickly. So we need to make sure we can hire them before they're unavailable.

In short: It's literally never too early to donate to a campaign. You can have 2x the impact now than you would waiting until October.

Pitch in $10 or more right now to maximize your impact. We still need to raise $1,294 before midnight tomorrow to reach our end-of-quarter grassroots goal!
