John,

At the beginning of this month, my team sent out a short survey asking to hear what issues were most important to you.

I took some time this week to read the results, and what I found was that out of the hundreds of responses we received, these were the most consistent issues you all raised!

☑️ Protecting reproductive rights
☑️ Combating climate change
☑️ Safeguarding voting rights
☑️ Preventing gun violence
☑️ Defending our democracy

I want to thank you for taking the time to share your priorities with me, and I thank you for caring about these issues and engaging in politics!

These issues are also incredibly important to me – as a Member of Congress, I have championed legislation that would help tackle these critical issues, including the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, the Women’s Health Protection Act, the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the climate provisions of the the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Inflation Reduction Act, and so much more.

As Governor of Virginia, I will do the same. I know the importance of protecting our rights, defending our democracy, and making sure that every Virginian — no matter where they live — is safe in their community. If you share that same hope for this great Commonwealth, I hope you’ll join me today in contributing to our campaign before our March fundraising deadline:
