We are excited to announce the launch of the 2024 Rise Challenge, an extraordinary initiative brought to life through our partnership with Accenture and Avanade.
The Purpose of the Challenge
Entrepreneurs of color are disproportionately impacted when it comes to economic access and opportunities compared to their white counterparts. At today’s pace of change, it will take 200–250 years to reach wealth equality.
The Rise Challenge aims to dismantle barriers facing entrepreneurs of color. We're calling for innovative solutions to empower these entrepreneurs and their businesses, tackling issues like access to capital and technological adoption barriers in CDFIs.
Challenge Details
How can we leverage artificial intelligence or other cutting-edge solutions to overcome the technology adoption barriers faced by Community Financial Development Institutions (CDFIs), thereby enhancing efficiency, expanding reach, and driving successful outcomes for marginalized entrepreneurs?
We invite you to submit your proposals that leverage solutions like artificial intelligence to enhance the reach and efficiency of CDFIs.
The Rise Challenge is made possible through a partnership with Accenture, Avanade, and Prosperity Now.

A Chance to Win
First Place Team: $75,000
Second Place Team: $50,000
Third Place Team: $25,000
Top teams will be invited to attend the Challenge Finals Event at the Prosperity Summit, September, 4-6, 2024, in Washington D.C where they will present their solutions to a panel of judges.
