I've spent nearly three decades defending our environment in court. But the scale and ferocity of President Trump's attacks on our air, water, and climate go beyond anything we have ever faced before.

The Trump administration is advancing the most extreme anti-environment agenda in American history ... and at breakneck speed.

That strategy is already working. Since Trump came into office, NRDC has engaged in over 80 lawsuits against his administration. Of those that have been resolved so far, we've scored 47 victories out of 50 cases. Here are just three of those wins:

• When the Trump administration tried — unlawfully — to lift a ban on drilling off our Arctic and Atlantic coastlines, we took them to court and halted the threat, for now
• When Trump's Interior Department illegally blocked endangered species protections for the rusty patched bumble bee, we sued — and the administration gave these essential pollinators the protection they urgently need
• When Trump's EPA removed safeguards on mercury pollution — a neurotoxin that is especially dangerous to young children — we raced to court to stop them, and the administration put the protections back in place

But the truth is, we're still waging some of our biggest legal battles, including those to stop Trump from:

• Dismantling the climate-saving Clean Power Plan
• Reviving the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline
• Reversing the Clean Water Rule, which protects drinking water supplies for one-in-three Americans
• Illegally shrinking national monuments like Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante in Utah
• Sacrificing our coasts and pristine wild places like the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to reckless oil and gas development
