Nature is all around us. Join this online workshop to learn how to capture photographs of butterflies and moths. Judy Gallagher, board member and co-author of Butterflies of Northern Virginia, will share her stunning insect photography and offer participants tips and tricks about photographing Lepidoptera for identification, or as art. She will discuss the relationship between aperture, shutter speed and ISO, photo composition, lighting, backgrounds and more. Judy will also suggest ideas for where participants can go to find butterflies and moths to photograph and review some dos and don’ts for getting the best images. She also will touch on equipment and go over some considerations for those thinking about buying new gear. More information and registration is here ([link removed]) .
