Brian Fitzpatrick and House Republicans just tore themselves apart and proved they can't govern themselves, let alone the country.

House Republicans are what we in the military call FUBAR – f**ked up beyond all recognition (or repair) – thanks to MAGA extremists like Matt Gaetz & Marjorie Taylor Greene.

First: They nearly shut down the government, which put our national security at risk and almost left our troops without pay. Fortunately, House Democrats saved the day.

Then: Marjorie Taylor Greene retaliated by filing a motion to oust Speaker Mike Johnson, creating a new national security threat – because the House won't be able get anything else done if they have to vote for a new Speaker. Republicans have essentially told those who would harm us, "Come on in. We're not home, but the cash register is wide open."

I know it can be easy to look at what's happening and think our whole government is FUBAR. But the fact is, the only thing that is FUBAR is one party – with weak leaders like Brian Fitzpatrick who let the worst among their ranks run amok.

We can fix what is broken by electing strong leaders who will stand up to the MAGA agents of chaos.
