It’s been nearly a year since workers at findhelp.org voted to form a union, but management still hasn’t reached a first contract.
Workers at findhelp.org when they voted to form a union with Office and Professional Employees (OPEIU) in 2023.

Hi John,

The workers at findhelp.org, a corporation that connects people to food pantries, community health centers, housing assistance providers and other social care programs, organized their union in April 2023 with Office and Professional Employees (OPEIU) Tech Workers Union Local 1010. Since then, workers have been attempting to negotiate a first contract with little movement from management.

Will you help the workers of findhelp.org (also known as Aunt Bertha) reach a fair contract? Take two minutes to send a letter to the findhelp.org board of directors and investors now.

The findhelp.org workers—more than 165 curators, engineers, salespeople, business analysts, production support, customer service representatives and other employees in Texas and across the country—are hoping to address a number of issues: transparency, equity, improving remote work flexibility, a fair just-cause process and lowering turnover.

Refusing to help their own workers is not in line with the values of a public benefit corporation whose mission is to help people in need reach social care services in their communities.

If enough people send a letter in support of these workers, management could feel the public pressure to come to the table and bargain a fair contract.

Thank you for coming together to support these workers.

In Solidarity,

Team AFL-CIO
