Eugene Vindman for Congress

Rep. Jason Crow just endorsed Eugene’s campaign for Virginia’s 7th Congressional District! As an Army Ranger, Jason Crow has led the charge to bring servant leadership to Congress — including serving as an impeachment manager for Donald Trump’s first trial. Read Eugene’s message below, then split a donation between their campaigns.

John —

I never imagined that I would be running for Congress, but I hope you’ll give me a moment to explain why I’m in the race, then split a donation between my and Rep. Jason Crow’s campaigns for Congress.

I’m a Jewish-Ukrainian immigrant whose family came to America to find hope like so many others. I was proud to join the U.S. Army and serve my country, just like Jason Crow.

On July 25, 2019, when my brother, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, heard President Trump threaten to block Ukraine’s military aid unless they investigated Joe Biden, we reported the call up the chain of command.

We refused to let Trump's abuse of his office stand, so we blew the whistle — leading to his first impeachment. His vengeance cost us our careers when we were fired in retaliation.

Unfortunately for Donald Trump, I’m not done holding him, and all those who desecrate our democracy, to account. I have a new mission: To represent the people of Virginia’s 7th Congressional District.

Today, I am proud to have Rep. Jason Crow’s endorsement in this race. As an impeachment manager for Trump’s Senate trial, he helped secure the first bipartisan Senate vote to convict a U.S. president in our nation’s history.

We agree that America needs more servant leaders who stand by their values. Now, with less than 100 days until the Primary Election, we need your help to reach more voters and get over the finish line.

Mine and Jason’s first end-of-quarter fundraising deadline closes this Sunday. This is one of the key races that will decide who controls the House. Will you split a $10 donation between our campaigns to help us take back the House majority and defend our democracy? >>

I never expected to run for Congress. But in the four years since that phone call that my brother Alexander and I reported, we’ve seen Donald Trump and his allies go all-in on authoritarianism.

The insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, the attempts to meddle in elections, the MAGA Republicans rolling back our rights — each moment has pushed our democracy to its breaking point, culminating in this election.

But there’s something both Jason and I know to be true: Bullies never win.

Amidst all of these attacks, Jason has continued speaking the truth and defending our Constitution in Congress. I’m ready to jump into the fight alongside him.

John, I hope you’ll consider splitting $10 between our campaigns before our end-of-quarter deadline this Sunday. Your donation will help us continue the fight for truth, justice, and decency.

Thank you in advance for helping us win this race. It means the world.
