I’ve got something that will blow your mind.

For the first time in FORTY YEARS, there is a Democrat on the ballot in *every single legislative race* up for vote in Idaho this November.

That means BOTH Congressional seats and EVERY Idaho state legislature district up for grabs in 2024 has at least one Democrat in the race.

 

Let me tell you what that means for our campaign, and the long-term prospects for a state like Idaho.

 

For too long, many of these seats have gone unopposed in the general election. That depresses turnout for Democrats and for independent voters who aren’t happy with the increasingly radical right-wing lawmakers who dominate our state government.

 

For years I have argued that the only way to change the extreme right-wing politics of Idaho is for people to get in the game and run for something.

 

In my Senate campaign last year I shocked a LOT of local organizers with the amount of enthusiasm we built across the state. The turnout for our campaign inspired multiple people to step up and run for office this cycle.

 

And now that we have Democrats running across the state, up and down the ballot, we are working together to uplift one another’s campaigns and drive voters to the polls.
