John — today
is the day the Supreme Court will start hearing arguments in the case to
ban the most commonly used abortion pill, mifepristone, nationwide.

This radical out-of-touch lawsuit was first ruled on by a campaign donor
Josh Hawley made a federal judge (and picked to oversee the case through
“judge shopping”). It’s being led by Josh Hawley’s wife. And it’s even
been directly supported by Josh Hawley’s taxpayer-funded role as U.S.
Senator.

They’ve been working toward this moment since 2019, when Josh Hawley was
sworn into the Senate and confirmed his donor, Matthew Kacsmaryk, to be a
federal judge in the Northern District of Texas — even despite bipartisan
opposition over his bizarre obsession with controlling other people’s
bodies.

Alliance Defending Freedom, the organization where Josh Hawley’s wife
works as lead counsel, knows that Kacsmaryk shares their extreme views on
abortion and reproductive rights. So when they had a lawsuit, led by Josh
Hawley’s wife, that aimed to restrict access to the abortion pill in all
50 states, they picked Matthew Kacsmaryk in the Northern District of Texas
to be their judge.

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Josh Hawley’s donor judge ruled in favor
of the suit led by Josh Hawley’s wife — going against guidance from the
FDA and reproductive health experts across the country.

Hawley later used his Senate office to file an amicus brief defending the
ruling.

This whole situation was so blatantly corrupt, that federal courts
recently started efforts to prevent “judge shopping” on their own, as this
case was one of the worst and clearest examples of this corruption to
date.

to ban abortion medication. She's also Josh Hawley's wife.

This is what we’re up against in Missouri this year,
John.

Control-obsessed elites like Josh Hawley are willing to do whatever it
takes to strip away the essential freedom for everyday people to decide if
and how they can build and raise their families.

Their first step was overturning Roe v. Wade. Now they’re attacking
reproductive rights across the spectrum — from enacting Missouri’s
exceptionless abortion ban, to outlawing the abortion pill across the
country, and now restricting access to IVF.

This election is our one and only opportunity to hold Josh Hawley
accountable, and we can’t afford to waste it. [ [link removed] ]So
John,
will you help us get this message in front of Missouri voters by rushing a
donation of $10 or whatever you can afford to my grassroots
campaign today?

I’m running to replace Josh Hawley in the U.S. Senate because it’s time to
put Missourians in charge of their own bodies, families, and lives. That’s
why I’m fighting to codify Roe v. Wade, restore abortion access in
Missouri, and protect reproductive rights across the country.

I hope I can count on your support this year,
John.

Thanks for everything,

Lucas Kunce
