[[link removed]] A Note from the CEO
As we near the end of Women's History Month, it's vital to reflect on the progress made while acknowledging the ongoing challenges. Despite significant strides, systemic barriers persist, underscoring the need for sustained advocacy. Let's honor the trailblazing women who've shattered glass ceilings and continue working to dismantle inequalities. Together, we can create a more equitable future where every woman thrives. New North Carolina Project seeks to lift all women, but particularly those who’ve faced significant challenges on their journey. Continue celebrating with us.

Voice of the Community
Have you ever felt like your voice doesn't matter? Many in our community share that concern; however, there's a strong interest in learning more about politics. To address this, we're launching a series of open forums on local issues, giving everyone a chance to be heard and feel included in shaping our future. ✔️ Educational Workshops: break down the political process, explain how different branches of government work, the role of local, state, and federal officials, and how policies are made and enacted
North Carolina is comprised many diverse groups with several legitimate concerns such as: language barriers, work schedules, financial disparities and other accessibility issues. ✔️ Panel Discussions: with local politicians, activists, and scholars who can discuss current political issues and answer questions from community members.
All of these are key when factoring in valuable ways to engage our community through events that foster growth opportunities’ such as: ✔️ Open Forums: Regularly scheduled where community members can speak about the issues, they care about can be empowering and encourage active participation.
