My campaign is different. I'm running for Senate because I believe that public service is about truly fighting for and listening to the families you swear to serve. I know that our message of unity and hope can win on Election Day. I owe so much to this state and this country. My mother brought my family from Ecuador to America when I was only 14. Those early years weren't easy. My mom worked double shifts to afford rent in a single one room apartment, and I struggled to fit in at school where kids made fun of my accent.

But America promised us what we could never find in Ecuador: safety, financial stability, an incredible education, and the assurance that our rights would always be protected. The American Dream is worth fighting for.

So my family and I worked hard to achieve that dream. And the promise of America came true for us. I found a better life, opportunities to give back to my community, a way to serve my country, a beautiful family, and my own American Dream.

But now everything that I fought for — freedoms, financial security, and safety from political violence — is being threatened by far-right extremism. That's why I'm running for Senate. I'm going to defeat Rick Scott this fall and win a better future for Florida — but I need your help in this critical moment to do it.
