It’s official. Lauren is facing James Marter in the general election.

In case you’re not familiar with Marter, here are a few key things to know:

-He’s a MAGA Republican 
-He supports the repeal of the ACA and a nationwide abortion ban
-He has extreme anti-immigrant views, including opposing DACA
-He openly admits to believing America is not a democracy
-His goal is to dismantle Biden’s policies that have improved life for working families

The choice could not be more clear. Lauren is committed to defending human rights and protecting freedoms for her constituents in IL-14 and all people across the country — and Marter wants to take them away.

Marter has already launched a robust fundraising push, claiming he can beat Lauren with the right resources. We know this grassroots team won’t let that happen.
