Our race in CA-41 is getting a lot of attention -- and for a number of reasons.

Will turned heads with how strongly he performed against Ken Calvert last election cycle. He was the only Democratic challenger in California to win Independent voters, and he did it by attracting support from across the political spectrum. That’s huge, and it’s something we’re going to build on this year.

That, combined with Will’s early fundraising momentum, led analysts at the Cook Political Report to move us to a “Toss Up” -- putting CA-41 squarely in the middle of the battleground for House control.
