Josey Garcia is a retired Air Force veteran and the Democratic nominee for Texas House District 124. Having served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Josey has a unique understanding of the district's rich military history and veteran-specific issues. She is dedicated to serving her community every day and will always make the needs of her constituents a top priority. Now that Josey has won her primary, she’s on to the general election and we’re proud to endorse her campaign!

New Politics supports outstanding military veterans and national service leaders, alumni of programs like AmeriCorps and the Peace Corps, to step up and serve our country again, this time through politics. We were proud to be behind the movement of veterans who ran for office for the first time in 2018, and we have big plans to grow into the future.
