ACTION REQUESTED: Sign my petition today to show your support for reproductive health care » [[link removed]]

Hi there,

Last week, I held a press conference alongside Attorney General Josh Stein and three in vitro fertilization patients (now moms) to call for state and federal protections of IVF following the recent Alabama Supreme Court decision.

Let me be clear: I will always fight to defend our rights to abortion, contraception, and healthcare access. This latest ruling is just another assault on women's rights following the overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022.

As your Congresswoman, I am committed to ensuring draconian measures like an IVF ban never reach North Carolina. That's why I cosponsored the Access to Family Building Act in the House — because women have the right to make reproductive health care decisions without adhering to Republicans’ anti-choice extremist agenda.

Together, I'm confident that we can send a clear message to Republicans that we will NOT stand by their extremist attempts to chip away at reproductive freedom. Will you take just 30 seconds to sign my petition and show your support for reproductive rights and the Access to Family Building Act? [[link removed]]

In 2020, Deborah became the first Democrat in over a decade to be elected to represent North Carolina’s 2nd Congressional district. In her first term, eleven pieces of legislation she introduced were signed into law. These measures increased funding for sexual assault nurse examiners, enhanced judicial ethics and transparency, and bolstered North Carolina’s offshore wind energy potential. Deborah needs your support to continue the fight for fairness, equality, and progress. Let’s do this together.
