Dear John,

We're so impressed by the child care educators, directors, and other staff who have stepped up to care for the kids of nurses, doctors, grocery store employees, and other Texans who are leading the battle against COVID-19.

To help connect these medical professionals and others with the child care they need during the pandemic, the state is about to launch a new Frontline Child Care Availability Portal.

Any child care providers who are ready to serve the children of frontline workers should sign up in the state portal — by 8:00 pm tonight if possible.

Thank you to the state officials, child care providers, and other Texans who are working so hard during this pandemic. We're all in this together!

Sincerely,
