Friends,

As more and more cities and states close businesses and ask residents to remain home to help slow the spread of the coronavirus, millions of service workers have suddenly found themselves out of work, with little to no ability to pay their bills.

While Congress has taken some necessary steps to help these workers, it’s not enough. Many workers now need some extra help to make ends meet.

Some of the hardest hit are restaurant workers, gig workers, and service workers who rely on tips from customers. While many lost their jobs, others are on front lines delivering food and supplies, putting them at risk.

That’s why today we are supporting One Fair Wage Emergency Fund, which gives cash assistance directly to service workers who find themselves struggling to make ends meet during this pandemic.

A donation from you today will make a huge difference in the lives of tens of thousands of workers being hit hardest in this crisis.

If you are able, click here to make a donation to One Fair Wage Emergency Fund. Your support will help service workers from coast to coast. We are all in this together!

DONATE NOW

Service workers and gig workers do essential jobs that allow the rest of our nation to cook and get around. In this moment of crisis, we cannot allow them to fall through the cracks.

And while we need to be doing much more as a country, supporting these workers is a good first step to take if you’re able to.

In the days and weeks ahead it’s going to be critical that we resolve to help each other, check in on each other, and if you can stay home and stay healthy.

Thank you in advance for chipping in to help service workers across the country.

My very best,

- Kamala
