John,

I know this is a difficult time for so many across our district, our state, and our country.

I haven’t had time to worry much about politics and I was hesitant to even write an email like this, but the reality is that campaigns haven’t stopped. My opponent and Nancy Pelosi’s national Democratic campaign machine haven’t slowed down – they’re still viciously attacking President Trump to raise money.

We’ve canceled all of our fundraising events for the foreseeable future.
And, unfortunately, tomorrow night there’s a MAJOR FEC fundraising deadline that will set the tone for the November election. ([link removed]) That’s why I’m writing – to ask you to please consider an online contribution of whatever amount you can afford before tomorrow’s midnight deadline.

If you can’t manage a contribution now, I completely understand. I’m so thankful to have you on my team and pray we can defeat this virus and get our economy up and running again.
If you can give, it would make a big impact on our re-election chances since these emails are the only way we can raise the money to run our campaign. Just click here or on the button below – it only takes a few seconds. ([link removed])

DONATE NOW ([link removed])
Thanks for your continued support. If ever there was a time to make sure we send strong, sensible leaders to Washington, it’s now.

- Dan

PS – I hope and pray you’re staying safe and caring for your loved ones, and I hope you’ll let me know if our team can provide coronavirus resources or help in any way.
If you have questions about the virus or the recently-passed relief package, coronavirus.gov ([link removed]) and sba.gov/coronavirus ([link removed]) are great places to start.
