Folks,
The coronavirus pandemic has impacted all of our daily routines – and our campaign is no exception. We’re working hard to adapt to this ever-changing situation.
Our teams are all working remotely, and we have canceled all in-person events for a while. We’re moving all communications and organizing online in order to practice social distancing and mitigate all risks associated with the COVID-19 outbreak.
Honestly, we don’t fully know how this crisis will change our campaign going forward – but we do know how critical this November’s election is.
At the end of this month we’ll be up against our first quarterly fundraising deadline of the year. And David has been working non-stop in Congress to secure badly-needed relief for Rhode Island and protect the health and economic security of our families.
So it’s on us to keep up the pace ahead of this crucial deadline at midnight tomorrow – and because we’ve had to cancel all of our in-person fundraising events, we’re relying on our online donors more than ever.
If you are able, please consider a contribution of any amount to help our campaign move online and prepare for this new reality.
Thank you for your support, and please stay safe.
