This is alarming, friend.

A recent study has found microplastics in every human placenta tested.1

From the top of Mount Everest to the deepest ocean trenches, microplastics have shown up nearly everywhere scientists have looked for them. These tiny particles have been found in human lungs, blood, organs and even breast milk – indicating a pervasive contamination of people’s bodies.

Our exposure is unavoidable. People consume microplastics through the food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe and everyday objects.

Prolonged exposure to microplastics could lead to respiratory, circulatory and digestive issues, as well as threats to our endocrine and reproductive systems, and an increased risk of cancer. The EPA’s inaction speaks volumes. Weak regulations and lax enforcement give polluters free rein to prioritize profits over public health.
