Hi Friend,
This year, GGWash turns 16.
Though 16 is a traditional American milestone of independence, thanks to the work we've done with many of you over those 16 years, more people in our region are enjoying the independence that comes from being about to get around without a car.
So in recognition of GGWash's Sweet Sixteen, we're throwing a party. We'd love to celebrate with you:
GGWash's Sweet Sixteen
6:00 - 9:00pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2024
Pearl Street Warehouse
Each ticket includes food and drink and provides critical support for GGWash’s work. It's kinda like prom, except we're all grown-ups, it's for a good cause, and your high school math teacher (probably) won't be there.

Don’t delay: the Early Bird discount ends after April 7 and advance ticket purchase is required to attend.
This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. To put it into perspective, this one night of celebration funds about 10% of GGWash's annual budget. That works out to something like 250-300 stories on the blog, or internships for about a dozen students, or 4x the cost of our annual office rent. It's a big deal.
If you, too, want to live and work in places with sidewalks, bike lanes, and frequent transit; with grocery stores, parks, and plenty of housing choices at attainable prices; that is accessible and welcoming to people of all income levels and backgrounds, we'd love to see you there.
Can’t make it? Please consider purchasing a pay-it-forward ticket. Every year, generous GGWash supporters make it possible for us to invite dozens of community members who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend.
Thank you for being part of the community of people who make this work possible. I hope to see you on April 30! [[link removed]]
Sincerely,
Chelsea Allinger
