Last week, I joined Kaitlan Collins, along with some of my colleagues in Congress, to discuss reproductive rights and IVF in the aftermath of the Dobbs decision:

Roe v. Wade was decided when I was still in school, and this issue is personal to me. When I was in high school, my friend had an illegal abortion that, later in life, left her infertile.

Stories like these and others that I’ve heard from women well into their 80s and 90s went through prior to Roe v. Wade highlight just one of the many dangers we run the risk of repeating now that states across the country have enacted strict, total bans on abortion.

We’ve already seen stories across the country of women having to travel hundreds of miles out of state to access lifesaving care due to extreme legislation, and as long as we don’t enact federal legislation to change it, this will remain the case.

Women deserve the right to bodily autonomy, and we must do everything in our power to protect it. That starts with delivering a pro-choice majority in the House this November.

We have our first FEC filing deadline of 2024 coming up at the end of the month. Will you join my campaign to ensure we defend this toss-up district, deliver a pro-choice majority for all Americans, and hit our March fundraising goal?
