You may remember that last year, on Tina’s first day in office, she declared a homelessness state of emergency. She set out several goals to achieve by the end of the year — 600 new shelter beds, 1,200 households rehoused, and 8,750 households prevented from experiencing homelessness.

Our collective effort to help people living on the streets is working. Now we need to continue the work until everybody has a safe place to call home.
