Voice of the Community
[[link removed]]
"I have never voted and I never will. " This stern sentiment was voiced by a middle-aged person with a flash of frustration in their eyes during our community conversations. Their words stung, yet held a note of resignation. In response, we spoke of hope and the enduring power of a single voice to ignite change. Despite widespread hope and excitement about civic engagement, a lingering sense of apathy persists among those who distrust the political process, leading them to refuse participation.
We must continue to have conversations on the importance of the individual vote, especially in a time when every vote can significantly sway outcomes.
