Tell the EPA to Strengthen and Finalize the Climate Pollution Rule → [link removed]

Hi friend,

Around one-quarter of the United States’ greenhouse gases come from existing power plants. It’s of the utmost importance we implement strong regulations, and do so soon.

We’re calling on the EPA to strengthen, maintain, enforce, and finalize its carbon regulation rules. These first-ever carbon regulations for existing plants require coal and gas plants to cut or capture almost all their emissions by 2040.

These rules are critical to improving public health and promoting environmental justice, and would bring us closer to achieving President Biden’s goal of 80% clean energy by 2030. In fact, President Biden and EPA Administrator Michael Regan actually promised to cut climate change pollution in half by 2030, highlighting the need for stronger pollution rules like these.

Friend, it should come as no surprise that corporate polluters and fossil fuel-friendly legislators are trying to convince the EPA to weaken the rules instead!

Help us hold the Biden Administration to account and make sure they hear the public support behind finalizing stronger carbon pollution rules. Sign our petition telling the EPA we want clean, pollution-free air now!
