Hey,

We hope you are holding up well. Keeping safe. Practicing social distancing. And taking all the necessary precautions.

We're sure you've been keeping up on the news, and have seen there is a grave shortage of masks and other essential medical equipment for our frontline health care workers. So we are hoping this community will help out. We did some research and came across an organization called "Direct Relief."

Direct Relief is a humanitarian aid organization, active in all 50 states and more than 80 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies - without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay.

Right now their biggest focus is providing personal protective equipment -- "PPE" -- to frontline workers across the country. Things like masks, gowns and other gear to keep them safe while they work around the clock to save lives. So, if you are financially able at this difficult time, consider pitching in a few dollars to Direct Relief so they can help manufacture and provide these critical supplies for frontline workers:

After weeks of pressure from Joe and countless Members of Congress across the country, the president finally invoked the Defense Production Act... but hasn't yet called for the production of masks. So in the face of the president's lack of leadership, it's up to us to help ensure our country stays safe.

We need more than tweets from our elected leaders. We need action. We need to take care of our own. So far we have raised nearly $30,000 directly for frontline organizations across the country and our campaign has donated nearly $7,000 to charities in Massachusetts. At this moment, we refuse to do nothing. We will continue leveraging every resource we have to help those on the frontlines.

We're in this together, and we'll get through this -- together.

Keep safe.

Team Kennedy
