* Three judges on the federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., unanimously sided with prosecutors this month."We cannot accept that the office of the Presidency places its former occupants above the law for all time thereafter," the U.S. circuit judges wrote. * Billboards slamming former President Donald Trump over a recent Alabama State Supreme Court ruling, which has threatened access to in-vitro fertilization, are going up in battleground states — including Pennsylvania. The Democratic National Committee is paying for billboards in the Philadelphia area, Harrisburg, and Pittsburgh, as part of a national campaign that seeks to connect Trump’s role in the overturning of Roe v. * Former President Donald Trump must be placed on Colorado’s 2024 ballot, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled unanimously yesterday, striking down a holding by the Colorado Supreme Court, The Capital-Star reports. ([link removed])

Laurie MacDonald ends Democratic bid for PA12, launches GOP write-in campaign ([link removed])
* Laurie MacDonald, president and CEO of the Pittsburgh-based nonprofit Center for Victims, has ended her campaign as a Democrat for Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District, but is launching a write-in effort as a Republican, the Capital-Star reports. ([link removed])

Wavering Black voters: Biden is flawed — and Trump is unacceptable ([link removed])
* Months of polling has shown a segment Black voters, a key part of President Joe Biden’s base, souring on his performance and growing more open to voting against the Democrat than in any recent presidential election, NBC News reports. ([link removed])

** 2024 Important Primary Election Dates

April 8: Last day to register to vote in the primary election vote.pa.gov/register

April 16: Last day to apply for a mail ballot vote.pa.gov/applymailballot

April 23: Completed mail ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m. vote.pa.gov/county

April 23: Election Day. Polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.vote.pa.gov/polls
