The results from the election are in, and while they’re not what we wanted, I’m deeply proud of what this campaign stood for: courage, integrity, and service before self.

Running for office was never about advancing my career or winning an election — it was about serving my community and fighting for a brighter future. Thank you for standing shoulder to shoulder with us in this fight to end gun violence, restore abortion rights, and fix our broken healthcare system.

Our movement changed the conversation and showed that new and diverse voices must be taken seriously. I will forever be grateful for your support.

I got into this race because I’ve had to pronounce too many victims dead on arrival due to gun violence and while this campaign is over, I look forward to continuing that work alongside the tireless friends and activists who were part of this team.
