| Teachers in Arizona are getting a 5% pay raise going into the new school year - that’s after getting a 10% raise last year. |

| The raises are part of GOP Gov. Doug Ducey’s plan to raise teacher pay 20% by 2020. It’s also helping with recruitment to fill the state’s teaching vacancies - many of which are in special education. |
