In a revealing turn of events that took us all by surprise, but not
entirely out of the blue, one of our primary opponents has just shown
their true colors. Moments after withdrawing from the race yesterday, they
re-entered - but this time, as a Republican.

We've been sounding the alarm on this for months, cautioning against the
hidden agendas and deceitful tactics of our opponents. To put it lightly,
this is garbage and we HAVE TO stand up to it. This isn't just about a
change in party affiliation. It's shining a glaring spotlight on the depth
of right-wing interests we're up against.

don’t back down, and that we stand united against deceit!

Meanwhile, our **other** opponent is still running in the Democratic
primary while receiving major donations from GOP donors to insurrectionist
Republicans — We're talking about big names like Ron DeSantis, Nikki
Haley, Ted Cruz, Rick Scott, Steve Scalise, Kevin McCarthy, Scott Perry,
Dr. Oz, and David McCormick.  The mask is truly off, showing the lengths
they will go to divide our community and derail our progress. 

Even more disturbing, this same Republican-funded opponent was caught
red-handed, urging Republicans to switch parties simply to try to take us
out. This is a 🚩BIG RED FLAG 🚩 we cannot ignore. It underscores the
urgency of our mission and the high stakes of this race. Our community
deserves leaders who are genuine, transparent, and, above all, dedicated
to the people, not to the whims of Republican donors with deep pockets.

The news of our opponent's party switch is a wake-up call. It confirms our
warnings and highlights exactly why this race is SO important. We cannot
afford to let our guard down. The integrity of our democratic process and
the values we cherish are on the line. Now, more than ever, we need to
stand united against those who would deceive us for their own gain.
Our response must be swift and strong. We need resources to get our
message out, to mobilize our supporters, and to ensure that every vote is
a vote for honesty, integrity, and progress.
