I am proud to co-sponsor the Access to Family Building Act to protect the right to access IVF under federal law.

Last week, the Alabama State Supreme Court ruled that frozen embryos are children — effectively banning in vitro fertilization, or IVF, in the state.

Several medical providers in Alabama have already started pausing IVF treatments.

Overturning Roe v. Wade was only the start. From trying to take abortion pill mifepristone off the market to banning IVF, Republicans are attacking reproductive rights at every turn.

But the GOP has no right to make healthcare decisions for women — including when or how they start a family.

That’s why I am proud to co-sponsor the Access to Family Building Act to protect the right to access IVF and other assisted reproductive technology services under federal law. Will you add your voice to this fight by becoming a citizen co-sponsor?

About 1 in 8 couples across the country struggle with fertility. I won’t stand idly by while Republicans try to take away their right to begin or grow a family. Thank you for speaking out alongside me.
